Sunbathing and Sleepwalking

There's Lyssie showing a little leg. We've been having a lovely, chilly (cheery) time.

Here's a little conversation we had this morning as I was a little foggy.

Lys: Katie, you're doing okay for the morning.

Me: What?

Lys: I mean, for how you are in the morning. A little grumpy sometimes?

Me: I'm being grumpy? Are you being sarcastic?

Lys: No, at least I didn't mean to be sarcastic... maybe you are grumpy?

Me: Oh, no, I mean, I don't feel grumpy. I thought you were saying I was acting grumpy.

We talk things out over here. I don't even know if this is an accurate account of the conversation.
